FAQ
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
Your dog will need a well-fitted, comfortable harness and a long line (10m is ideal). If you don’t have these, your Instructor might have a kit available to borrow, please let them know this when booking.  You will need sturdy footwear and appropriate outdoor clothing.
DOES MY DOG NEED TO HAVE ANY TRAINING EXPERIENCE?
No, in fact, the less training the better!
MY DOG IS NERVOUS OF NEW PEOPLE, IS THIS A PROBLEM?
No, care can be taken to make sure you and your dog have an enjoyable experience. Your dog will not be pushed into a situation they are not comfortable with. Mantrailing is a fantastic way to grow your dog’s confidence and can transform a nervous/shy dog into a people-loving cuddle monster – sorry! Please make your instructor aware when booking.
MY DOG IS NERVOUS ABOUT OTHER DOGS, IS THIS A PROBLEM?
No, dogs are worked one at a time and on a long line. There is no need for your dog to come into proximity with another dog. Please make your instructor aware when booking.
If you still have more questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Someone on our team will be happy to assist you.
